Become A Connection Group Leader
We believe the Connection Group ministry is the catalyst through which God moves to build community, friendship and ultimately change life. Our Connection Group Leaders are instrumental in this process. If you have led a group in the past or just feel a tug on your heart to step up into leadership read on and learn how to become a Connection Group Leader.
Getting Started:
If you are currently in a connection group:
First, talk with your current group leader. He or she can answer any questions about the role, time commitment and even help you start facilitating in your current group.
Then, your group leader will work with you and the adult ministry office to get you trained and to work out a timeline for you to lead a group of your own.
If you are new to Stonecreek or not currently in a group, contact Jason Howard, Director of adult ministries (770-754-7900 x112, ) to schedule a time to discuss next steps and set up an interview.
Worried you aren't qualified for the job?
No need to worry! Stonecreek has prepared a complete training module as well as ongoing resources that will have you on your way to becoming the leader God designed you to be. You will be equipped with relevant training and materials, gain valuable knowledge on leadership skills and meet regularly with the Adult Ministries director who will lead you through the entire process.
