Volunteer Opportunities at Stonecreek Church:
Connection Group Leader (Couples, Men, Women & Singles)
Facilitates lessons and discussions to groups of about 10 to 12 adults.
Support in the set-up and tear-down of our ministry events as well as some preparation of refreshments and snacks during worship services.
Provide a loving and caring environment for babies in our Nursery or kids age 3 through K in our Splash! environment on Sunday mornings. Specific environments are assigned based on need that particular Sunday. This volunteer position usually serves one Sunday per month.
Group Leader - Students, Children (Kidzu & Splash) and Nursery
Group Leaders in our student area choose to work with students in either Surge (middle school, 9:30 a.m.) or Hydr8 (high school, 11 a.m.). Leaders help lead group discussion on Sunday mornings and follow up with each student periodically throughout the month.
Group Leaders in our children's area choose to work with children either in Kidzu (grades 1-5) or in Splash! (ages 3-K.) Leaders sit with their kids during large group time and then help kids grasp why and how they can live right, love God and serve others through interactive games and activities.
Leaders in our Nursery environment choose to either provide a loving environment for babies or help establish a foundation of God's love for children closer to age 2. This volunteer position usually serves two Sundays per month.
Use sound, video, lighting and graphics to compliment either our Kidzu, Student or main auditorium worhip environments.
Provide a safe and reassuring presence for children grades 1-5 as they meet in small groups on Sunday morning.
Welcome, guide and assist people as they enter the campus.
Welcome and check-in children, students and guests as they arrive in our building on Sunday morning.
Welcome and offer assistance to each person who enters Stonecreek, including guiding them to the right environments on Sundays.
Welcome and hang out with middle (9:30 a.m.) and high school (11 a.m.) students before their service begins.
Welcome people and set the tone for a great worship time as they enter our main auditorium on Sundays.
