Connect With Other Single Adults At Stonecreek
A New Group For Young Professionals :: Tuesdays :: 7:04 p.m.
Sevenofour is unapologetically Christ-centered and exists to build fresh faith into the lives of adults, 19 to 29, whom at times have been abandoned by family, friends and church. Sevenofour meets meets every Tuesday night at 7:04 p.m. In February we will meet at Stonecreek Church and then possibly branch out to coffee shops, restaurants and houses from there.
Connection Groups For Single Men And Single Women
At Stonecreek, we try to form gender-specific groups of anywhere from six to 12 men or six to 12 women based on age and geography. Groups meet together regularly for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. Groups will meet either in a host home or at a predetermined bookstore, coffee shop or restaurant. We offer the following age ranges for groups:
Connect 3.4: These groups are for singles age 30 to 49
Connect 5.0: These groups are for singles age 50+
Support For Single Moms
Stonecreek offers Connection Groups and Care resources specifically designed to help and support single moms. These groups consist of six to 12 moms and are led by single moms in our congregation.
Join A Group Through Group Launch
The best "first step" to find a group is to register for the next Group Launch. Group Launch is a 90-minute experience where you will learn more about Connection Groups and find a single's group that works for you. To register, contact Kelly Matthews, (770-754-7900 x110, .)
NOTE: Young Professionals just need to show up for Sevenofour and do not need to attend Group Launch.
Leaders Wanted
Interested in leading a Connection Group? Could you host a group in your home? Contact Jason Howard, director of adult ministries (770-754-7900 ext. 112 or ) or click here to learn more and download a leader application.
Compassion Opportunities
Scripture teaches that Jesus said our extensions of compassion are not done on behalf of Him, but that our acts of compassion are done to Him. "I'm telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me-you did it to me." - Matthew 25:40 (The Message)
As Christ-followers, we are called to extend compassion. We are not called to be passively aware of the suffering of others but to actively do something about it.
