For Kids (Birth to Grade 5)
Stonecreek Church has three environments dedicated to helping a parent lead their children to pursue life in Jesus as his or her greatest passion.
Hey Parents! The new school year is just around the corner! And August 8th, we look forward to promoting your Nursery, Splash! and Kidzu kids to their new grades and environments.
Our children's enviornments begin promptly at 9:30 and 11 a.m. each Sunday.
Nursery
We welcome you and your child to Stonecreek’s Nursery environment. We firmly believe the first two years of life are of unparalleled importance in building character, love and a positive response to Jesus Christ and the church. It is a privilege for us to partner with you in the spiritual development of your child and we promise to provide clean, safe and high-quality learning environments every Sunday at both 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Monica Boyd, Director of Nursery Ministries (770-754-7900 x102, ).

Frequently Asked Questions From Parents
How old does my child have to be to start attending the nursery?
Our recommendation is that your child is at least six weeks old prior to bringing him or her to the nursery.
What security measures are followed in the Nursery?
All children must be accompanied to their rooms by a parent or adult guardian and will only be released to the parent or guardian who has the Quicklink parental receipt. If a Quicklink receipt is lost, your child’s teacher will ask to see your picture ID/driver’s license before the child is released. Only adults can pick up a child from their room.
What can I do as a parent to make our child’s first time in the nursery a positive experience?
For a child’s first experience in our nursery to be happy and meaningful, the major responsibility is in the hands of his or her parents. It is best for one parent to bring the child to his room and leave him at the door. Please do not enter the room unless you have a sleeping child. As your child begins to walk, allow him to walk into his room. This builds confidence and independence.
If you forget something and must return to your child’s room, please stay out of sight, knock quietly and whisper to the teacher. Then quickly leave. Avoid letting your child see you because this may trigger his inner clock to think it’s time to go.
What will my child’s experience be in the nursery on Sunday mornings?
While your child is in our nursery environment, he or she will enjoy a variety of experiences. These will include Bible stories, craft time and planned activities in our center areas. Your child will enjoy books, puzzles, home living, blocks and music. Our classes are staffed with dedicated adults who are actively involved in your child’s learning. Our goal is to provide a loving encouraging environment for your child.

Splash! (Age 3-K)
Splash! exists to connect with children ages three through Kindergarten and lead them to understand what it means to pursue life in Jesus as their greatest passion. To accomplish this mission we engage your child in a large group time of teaching and worship as well as a small group environment with games, crafts and engaging activities.
