Local Opportunities
Wellspring Living
Purpose: Atlanta is among the top three cities in the United States for child prostitution. One in four women is sexually molested by age 18. Wellspring Living creates restorative environments for these victims of childhood trauma to help them step out of their pain and begin to rebuild their lives. Wellspring for Women offers a safe place where motivated women (average ages 20 – 35) can receive hope and healing from childhood sexual abuse and other destructive behaviors. Wellspring provides a residential program for women, consisting of six months in an intensive, therapeutic environment followed by six months of supported transition.
Wellspring for Girls, in partnership with other child service organizations, cares for girls (ages 12 – 17) who have been devastated by forced prostitution. Wellspring Living offers a therapeutic and educational day program for abuse survivors.
Our Emphasis: Raise awareness and provide assistance to further Wellspring Living's mission.

Tutoring At Local Schools
Purpose: Provide extra support for our local elementary, middle and high school partners.
Our Emphasis: Manning Oaks Elementary has asked adults (18 and older) in the Stonecreek family to help in tutoring 3rd through 5th graders in their math and language arts programs. There are two specific time slots to choose from: 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. (Monday through Thursday). A Manning Oaks teacher will help guideyour time so there is no preparation on the volunteer's behalf. All a volunteer needs to do is arrive on time and help students with the work already provided.

First Call
Purpose: There are times when a single mom within Stonecreek Church or our local community could use advice, encouragement and assistance. As a church we want to be the first call to mobilize men and women who have said they can be the church and help with these specific needs.
Our Emphasis: Match First Call Responders with needs received through this Web page. Each responder has completed a background check, and has affirmed to treat each request with care. We have responders ready to help with the following requests:
Advice on major auto repairs. Wash car and provide an oil change or assistance with general maintenance. Advice and assistance with computer, printer, audio and video repairs or purchases. Move furniture. Hang pictures. Assist with minor house repairs or estimates for major repairs. Plumbing repairs. Electrical repairs. Assistance with yard work. Advice on budget planning.

FaithBridge Foster Care
Purpose: There are more than 800,000 foster children nationwide. Nearly 13,000 in Georgia. And only 25–30 percent of the necessary families to serve them. The number of foster children needing care, and the lack of available foster families, at first seems overwhelming. However, if you believe, like we do, that the local church has a biblical mandate to care for widows and orphans, then this problem is not as unsolvable as it initially appears. FaithBridge Foster Care has a strategy and a model to mobilize, organize, equip and release local churches and local communities to solve our country’s foster care crisis. Together, we stand in the gap for foster children and foster families.
Our Emphasis: Raise awareness and provide assistance to further FaithBridge's mission.
